Mapelastic Aquadefense is a superior quality premixed waterproofing and crack bridging membrane. It is made from a liquid rubber base and is extremely fast drying. It is installed under ceramic and stone tiles in residential, commercial and industrial areas. It provides a thin and continuous barrier to protect adjacent parts from water damage. It can be combined with reinforcement fabric or Mapeband accessories to further protect problem areas, such as skirting boards, corners and gypsum board fittings. Mapelastic Aquadefense dries quickly and allows for the installation of ceramic tiles after 30 to 50 minutes. An immersion test can be performed after 12 hours of drying time.
